I forgot that I'd scheduled to have my birthday off because my parents might be coming to visit, but they aren't, and now I have three days off in a row for the first time in ages.  I can't decide if I want to try out this MTN thing and go somewhere interesting or go somewhere where no one will find me and I can hide with notes, a pot of coffee, and a rough draft.  Social or antisocial?  People or productivity?  It's a tough decision, they're both tempting.

Did I miss the part of orientation where they explained how places are now showing up too? Was the WHO and the WHAT just not enough that we had to add in some WHERE? Also, important point, if I write about somewhere, could it show up? Or someone? If so I have some ideas. Of course you do.

Maybe we could write about a magical place known as 'The Bookstore Not Run By Crazy People'. You do know that mystery is a genre, right? It's not like when you label a drawer 'miscellaneous'. Ignore him. It's not that bad. It is that bad. A history of armored vehicles is shelved next to The Trial, a Polish cookbook, and What to Expect When You're Expecting. Unless that's the surrealism section, you've failed.

Yeah. Work is interesting. We're understaffed, and I've been distracted by the crazy man in my head. Fun times.

I'm here. Now is anyone else here, or is this some really elaborate trick?

Actually, I'm pretty sure I know one person who is here, because I've been thinking about the last few conversations we've had and if she isn't a reincarnate, I'm pretty sure my cousin is a functioning schizophrenic. Although, technically, that might apply to all of us based on the latest DSM definition.

In any case, hello. My name is Jay, I live in Portland, I'm a writer. I'm nice, my other half is Dr. House, he's not nice, but he's here too. Say hi?

I'm bored. Entertain me. Anyone got a disease?

Close enough.

I've found that when you want to know the truth about someone, that someone is probably the last person you should ask. )
